The Pleasure Pixels is a burlesque troupe formed in the style of vaudeville-esque burlesque with a neo-burlesque twist and cultural influences. The troupe has performed both classic stylized burlesque and burlesque numbers that included anime and video game characters. The troupe formed in September 2011. They performed two months later at Shadocon.(an anime and comic book convention) The show featured five group acts featuring such characters as Sailor Moon, Hermione Granger, and Babydoll from Sucker Punch(among others.) The troupe has competed and won their first competition in March 2012. They are officially Pinup America’s best troupe in America and are featured in the magazine. Their next event will be Pinupalooza in July.
